Daria's birthday weekend

This is what a 7 year old princess looks like on her day off.

Bathing beauties. Grandma Bev and Granpa Dale brought us a swimming pool and a slip and slide to play with in the back yard. Mom is exceedingly greatful, especially since the public pool closes August 13 and there is still plenty of hot weather left after that. Daria and I are tan from all the sunshine.

Last, but definitely not least, Granny Dee came over and helped me repaint Daria's room. I will be repainting her dresser and lamp to match at a later date. I can't remember where the comforter is in this picture, but you get the general idea. When I get it completely finished I will post another picture. Have I mentioned that David's mom is a decorating guru? It's a good thing, because I'm not.
