In school we were studying ancient civilizations last week. Not an in depth study, this is only first grade, but enough Daria can tell you there were ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, and Hebrews. This is Daria's name in hieroglyphics, read it from the top.

Daria was supposed to be getting dressed, but wrote math papers instead. Now I'm torn: Do I jump her for not doing what she was supposed to be doing? Or do I praise her for being so good at math? I chose the latter and then sent her back upstairs to get dressed. Below are close-ups of the papers she is holding.

Hey, good to see Daria again!
Hi Daria!
Kathy, Quentin, Stuart & Elijah
My son, the Boy Wonder, regularly tries to get out of stuff by doing math, too. He knows I get a thrill out of his enthusiasm for arithmatic and has figured out that he'll at least be able to delay little things like making his bed or setting the table or whatever. Amazing how they create their own loopholes, isn't it?
